We recognise that hospital stay and in-patient programs are not the right treatment for everyone and often the cost of this care can be a barrier to receiving treatment. We also recognise that commitments of our personal and working lives may prohibit us from seeking care.
Our Treatment Program is evidence based, providing confidence in the level of care delivered, whilst making use of technological advances available to us via tele-health and patient web portals.
BailSafe works with its patients to combine their personal and working lives alongside their recovery.

BailSafe Australia is committed to the provision and delivery of an integrated model of care for its patients. This allows the delivery of co-ordinated and effective care that can address a patient’s biomedical and mental health needs, including treatment for substance use and addiction.
The Treatment Program matches each patient with a multi-disciplinary Care Team comprising of a GP, Pyschologist / Counsellor/Alcohol and Drug Mental Health Worker and a Care Co-Ordinator.
Patients meet weekly with members of their Care Team, facilitating high levels of patient -clinician engagement, retention and oversight. The model of care has been designed to move quickly to respond to each patient’s individual needs, providing referrals to allied health or where medically appropriate alternative more complex care pathways.
The use of patient- reported outcome measures (PROMs) provides a structured way of helping patients to report information about their health outcomes. Use of outcome measures can guide treatment decisions and help clients recognise their own improvements.
The use of PROMs is routinely integrated into the BailSafe model of care to ensure patient treatment is effective and adaptive.
Our clinicians recognize that patients come to us with varying degrees of motivation and commitment to treatment.
Our model of care is Person-centred. Our health care is care that is respectful of, and responsive to, the preferences, needs and values of patients and consumers;
• Treating patients with dignity and respect
• Encouraging patient participation in decision-making
• Communicating with patients about their clinical condition and treatment options
• Providing patients with information in a format that they understand so they can participate in decision-making
